Post-injury rehabilitation
Specialist mental health services (NHS and private sector)

Corporate mental health schemes
In addition, Dr Barsky provides specialist assessments and reports for veterans making medico-legal and personal injury claims and has overseen clinical services offering psychological treatments and support to Veterans and frontline / blue-light responders following significant psychological trauma.
Dr. Barsky’s team avoid a ‘cookie cutter’ approach, instead focusing on creating a personalised treatment plan tailored to each person’s specific situation. His team will use a range of evidence-based treatments to support Veterans Welfare Group service users in achieving recovery and long-term well-being. This approach not only accelerates recovery but also empowers veterans to explore new career opportunities post-service while promoting sustainable well-being.
Dr. Barsky will play a pivotal role in supporting veterans via the Armed Forces Rehabilitation Pathway. His extensive experience, alongside the Veterans Welfare Group’s mission, means his appointment will provide tailored treatment solutions for those who have served our country.
“I’m delighted to be joining the Veterans Welfare Group to offer services to those leaving the armed forces to accelerate their road to recovery through the Armed Forces Rehabilitation Pathway ensuring each military personnel and veteran gets the dedicated support package they need,” said Dr. Barsky.
Dean Phillips, Veterans Welfare Lead, adds, “Dr. Jamie Barsky’s wealth of experience supporting the armed forces community brings unparalleled expertise and distinguished credentials to enhance the Armed Forces Rehabilitation Pathway.
