War Pension
War Pension is a UK Government compensation scheme for veterans for any injury as a result of service for their country before 6th April 2005.
There are two types of awards under the government scheme;
- A lump sum payment for disablement less than 20%
- An ongoing payment for disablement more than 20%
You do not need a legal representative to apply for compensation via the Government’s War Pension Scheme.
On the government website, it states that if your condition is Noise Induced Hearing Loss and your disablement is less than 20%, you will not receive any reward, however you may be able to claim compensation through the courts via a solicitor.
Also, if you’re successful claiming via the War Pension, you may also be able to claim via the courts. If you’d like support with a no win, no fee compensation claim, get in touch today and we can sign-post you to a solicitor who may be able to help.
