Armed Forces Day Manchester

Manchester will come together in St Peter’s Square for a free Armed Forces celebration, honouring serving personnel, veterans, and their families for their dedication, courage, and sacrifice.

The event will be marked by the Lord Mayor of Manchester and the Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, with live performances from military bands and a packed programme of military and civilian entertainment throughout the day.

Visitors can enjoy family-friendly activities, information and support stalls from Armed Forces charities including the Royal British Legion, and explore military displays showcasing both historic and current equipment.

A powerful day of reflection, celebration, and community, with something for all ages in the heart of the city.
