Armed Forces Day returns to Denton on Saturday 27 June 2026 for Tameside’s annual celebration honouring service personnel past, present, and future.
The Civic Mayor will host a private veterans’ lunch at Denton Civic Square from midday, followed by a community festival in Victoria Park from 1pm–4pm, open to all.
Enjoy live music, dance performances, family activities, and a range of fun attractions including climbing walls, face painting, crafts, and more.
A variety of support services and community organisations will also be on hand, alongside refreshments available throughout the afternoon at Victoria Park Community Centre.
